What is Next Tech Fest?
Next Tech Fest brings together young women exploring future careers in tech for a free day of inspiring talks, hands-on workshops, speed mentoring, networking with employers and meaningful connections ✨
After four years in London, we're bringing Next Tech Fest to Manchester for the first time this September - don't miss it!
Meet employers and tech professionals from leading organisations 👋
You’ll get the chance to meet, learn from and ask questions of people from organisations including Methods, Sky, Motability Operations, AtkinsRéalis, Equal Experts and Mastek, with more still to be announced.
They’ll be joining us throughout the day for panels, interactive workshops, speed mentoring and networking, giving you the chance to discover different careers, hear what it’s really like to work in tech and make connections with people already working in the industry.

If you’ll be missing school or college: If you would usually be at school or college during the event, you’ll need permission to attend. When you register, we’ll ask you for the name and email address of a teacher, careers adviser or other member of staff who can authorise your absence. We’ll contact them to confirm and email you once your attendance has been authorised. Please don’t make plans to miss lessons until you’ve received that confirmation from us.

Throughout the day, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to speak directly to people working across different tech roles and make useful connections.
Timings on the day:
9:30am - 10:00am: Arrivals and networking
10:00am - 12:30pm: Morning sessions (workshops, panel and speed mentoring)
12:30pm - 1:30pm: Lunch, exhibition and networking
1:30pm - 3:30pm: Afternoon sessions (workshops, panel and speed mentoring)
3:30pm - 4:30pm: Optional extra networking
