What is an Insight Day?
Spend a day inside one of our partner companies’ offices and get a real feel for what it’s like to work in tech. Every Insight Day is different, with activities and experiences designed to give you a behind-the-scenes look at the company and its people.
What to expect
🏢 Explore a real workplace: Get a behind-the-scenes look at a leading company and discover what working there is really like.
👩💻 Meet inspiring people: Hear about different roles and career journeys, ask questions and get advice from people working in tech.
🔧 Get hands-on: Try something new through interactive workshops, activities and real-world challenges. Most are beginner-friendly, so you don't need any previous experience
✨ Build confidence and connections: Meet other young women, develop new skills and explore where a career in tech could take you.
Who can attend?
Our Insight Days are generally aimed at girls and young women aged 16–25, whether you're at school, college, university or exploring your new steps. Eligibility criteria can vary depending on the opportunity, so make sure you check the individual event details.
You don’t need to have studied Computer Science, have coding experience or already know exactly what career you want. Our Insight Days are designed to help you explore your options, whatever your starting point.
Whether you're already interested in tech or just curious about what's out there, you're welcome to apply.

How to attend an Insight Day
1️⃣ Find an Insight Day: We advertise new opportunities throughout the year on our Events page, social media and via email. Sign up for updates so you don't miss out!
2️⃣ Apply for a place: When you find an Insight Day you'd like to attend, complete the short application form. Places are limited, so make sure you apply before the deadline.
3️⃣ Confirm your attendance: If you're offered a place, we'll email you with the next steps. Reply to confirm your attendance and we'll send you everything you need to know before the day. Remember to check your junk or spam folder too!
